Born in 1957, Antonio began to dedicate himself to design in 1974.
In 1976 he moved to Rome to study where he graduated in Architecture at the Sapienza University.
In 1980 he founded Studio Romano, a design and communication firm that quickly grew in the Italian market.
In 1991, Studio Romano became a brand consultancy and changed its name to AR&A (Antonio Romano & Associates), with offices in Rome and Milan, working with local as well as international clients.
Within a few years, AR&A became the leader in corporate branding in the Italian market and in 1997, started to develop its international network by opening offices abroad.
In 2004, the international network determined a further change of name to Inarea (International Network of Area). Inarea has gathered 10 offices in 8 countries, with 22 senior partners and over 100 people.
Besides the coordination of the network, he is Brand Design Professor at Sapienza, University of Rome and at Telematic University “UniNettuno”.
He has attended seminars and conferences in Italy and abroad.
He is member of the Board of Directors of La Quadriennale, in Rome.
